Hi Guys,
As you already know I am due to marry in San rafeal church in Ibiza on the 27th of this month. It's taken me over a year of planning to organise my perfect day and 80 guests flying over to be with us.
Unfourtunatly it's not going to happen now, my beloved father has fallen critically ill with a bad blood cancer. He also has blood poisoning, pneumonia and is so so ill. He probably wont pull through but he is fighting it with all his might.
It's his wish to know we are married so on thursady we nipped of to the reg office with our family and got married, as you can imagine it was very emotional. When we got back to the hospital we showed him the certificate and his face lit up.
Sorry if this is all a bit heavy to take in but I couldn't bear anyone to ask how the wedding went in a weeks time.
I can't make any sense of why this is happening and doubt I ever will, my heart is broken in two.
please raise a glass to myself and Dom when your in Ibiza this summer and get Ibiza to send all it's positive vibes to Liverpool for my Dad.

I hope your father pulls through so he can enjoy your new life (and future children ;) ). Congrats on the wedding. May you be happy and have more good luck in the future. remeber after rain comes sunshine. Take care and strength for you, your mom and your family.
 
Sandi honey, im so sorry to hear about your dad. You done such a sweet thing for him and made his wish and i hope he gets well soon.

Sorry to hear your bad news, but that is a precious memory you will all treasure in your hearts seeing your Pa's face light up after showing him the certificate.

Thanks for all your kind words. My Dad is a bit better today if he can get a bit stronger he can have chemo so I am staying positive still. If I get a few more years with him it will be worth a thousand Ibiza weddings. Thanks again really cheered me up reading your messages. xxx
 
Hopefully you get more than a few good years with him.....hopefully he shakes this nasty disease! Then when he does, you can renew your wedding vows all over again at the church in Ibiza, and it will be like having the wedding you originally planned....only this time maybe even a little more special! :D Best wishes to you and your family, and may your father have a quick and speedy recovery!

Sandi i'm so so sorry to hear of your situation. I'm glad to hear he is a bit better and I hope He will share in your future happiness.
