Rebooking...

Got back like two days ago and already thinking about rebooking for my third visit. Question is, when to book. Looking now, it doesn't look very cheap even for booking a year in advance. This time, we tried to be clever and book everything ourselves to be cheaper and went totally wrong. ( Flights - Gatwick to Barcelona to Ibiza totalling about 8 hours only to get there without a room for another like 14 hours, then on our last day getting kicked out at 10AM with no flight for 36 hours then flight back, Ibiza to Valencia to Heathrow. Oh and all this to have our room robbed by the Hotel porter in the ****test hotel in cuffing San An behind Eden ! ) We are obviously extremely intelligent. Anyway, when to book for cheapest, with who and how ?

I always go in September from the 1st, stay in Playa den Bossa and either book a good apartment near PDB or a villa within 10 minutes drive. Plenty of good ones on here my friend. Don't stay in San An.
 
Noooooooo, I know all that. Well, I still prefer to stay in nice part of San An Bay, it's not all English scum, I like seeing the hazards about. But what I mean is when is the best type to book for price? As people are stating some silly prices because they booked early. But when is this? At the moment it isnt too cheap so when should I be looking to book price wise?
