At the end of the day, if you go away in August you have to expect crowds of lairy Brits in San An. June and September still have them, but its a much better atmosphere.

I was twice at Mambo for the Essential Selection (4th and 11th of August) and both were really great experiences for me!
Maybe because i ain't british or maybe just because i'm not a cry baby like some of you and came to have a good time (and boy did i have one).

See you next year at the same time and the same place for Radio 1 week(end)

hi mate, unfortunately we never got to meet, im not sure if u text me but i wasnt geting any texts through on my mobile during my stay
 
R1 weekend was wicked. Saw the last 10mins of Jules' set at Mambo, then last hour of Vern's set on the sunday lunchtime. Great crowd.

Best bit was when he finished broadcastin and said to the crowd they can swear now - everyone started shouting (in good humour of course :D ) "Vernon is a w***er" :lol: :lol: :lol: Crude but he knew they were kiddin and it was funny as f**k.

Lookin 4ward to next year.
