Radio 1 Weekend - cancelled this year

hi i have just had a txt from a mate that has told me that they have just anounced on air that radio 1 weekend will not be going ahead this year.

please could you confirm whether or not this is true!

well i'm going for a cig break in a min so i'll sit in my car and listen to R1 for a bit.

Extremely poor sense. No reason as to why they would cancel it and it's highly successful. Go punch your friend in the face :)
 
even though i aint there this year it cant be cancelled...for that weekend i dont turn my radio off...i just gonna have to think back to standing on the wall just by the stage having it to fergie.......ohhh why aint i there

to me... its worth not going out for 3 months and being a hermit to save the money! :lol: :lol:
 
stuie, new job, 10k pay cut + paying extra £300 a month out now....hence i skint, and i also made alternative holiday arrangements which unfortunatly dont include ibiza(:(:(
