*** Radio 1 Weekend 2012 ***

...or perhaps this means everybody gets a wristband who has a ticket, but THEN its first come first served to actually get into Ushuaia?
 
I've applied for 3 lots so far but I'll be by myself in Ibiza until the Sunday so if I do get at least one pair I've got a spare.
If I somehow get more than one pair you're welcome to the other 3.
 
Im going with 3 other mates and all four of us have applied for 2 each the problem is we dont arrive there till thursday the 2nd ?

Go and swap your ticket for a wristband when you get there.
I arrive Thursday 2nd around 11pm, so cant get a wristband until early Friday morning.

Not condescending in the slightest, but read the last few comments on this thread as we have been discussing this dilemma.
Shouldnt be a problem getting a wristband if you have a ticket, its just making sure you get to the venue early to gaurantee entry, we think :)

Out of interest, where do we actually exchange tickets for wristbands?
 
ah no way :( well i had about 10 people in work also apply for me, and it reads on the email that if you have applied for someone else just make sure they bring their ticket to the wristband exchange so doesnt sound like they will be strict with ID etc so will let ya know once im in work and you can have them.

looks like im not a winner this year gutted. May well be a day of recovery now but to be honest I think I'm gonna need it.
 
Got my email, but don't arrive until 11pm Thursday 2nd so seems I can't get them anyway as have to be swapped for wristbands before 5pm?!

I got my email too eventually :)
Can you not pass it on to someone you know / trust who is over there in advance to get them for you?

Or do you think it will be a case of give the tickets in and your wristband is put on you.
 
not too sure, i dont know anyone on the island before im there, i have people going over day after me unfortunately. Thinking of trying to get an earlier flight time. But seems a lot of trouble to get into a Free Party, as much as i really want to go!
