Radio 1 Weekend 2009

Hi guys,

Found a great priced holiday to Ibiza (£300 10 nights Catalina above Savannah, I think, travelrepublic.co.uk). That goes from 5th Aug to 15th Aug, however me and the missus want to be there for the radio 1 weekend. Will it be the 1st/2nd AUg or 8th/9th Aug. Any help appreciated?

Hello there, I always book up for R1, and have found that it falls on the second weekend in August. It was earlier this year because of the leap year and the calendar bringing that weekend forward.

It will almost certainly be the 2nd weekend next year as the 1st is a Saturday so they will host the next full weekend (Fri 7th- Sun 9th)
