think i'm gonna be booking the last 2 weeks in September for the closing parties this year & cos our accomodations so cheap compare to when we normally go (last 2 weeks in July) am thinkin about goin across for the radio one weekend aswell but want to get it booked uite quickly cos ill need to commit myself to it or I want save :!: :lol:

I know it's pretty impossible to guess but who reckons it's a pretty safe bet that it'll be the weekend of Friday 06 August, Saturday 07 August & Sunday 08 August (the first weekend in August as opposed to the second like last year, which fell quite early on in the month anyway - it was fri 8th, sat 9th and sun 10th last year)

or does anyone actually know for def. when it will be?
 
If I were you I would get the info straight from the horses mouth :!:

e--mail BBC Radio 1 and ask them for details of this years special events. :idea: Try their dance anthems address: dance.anthems@bbc.co.uk

try to avoid this time of year, its the busiest, hottest, most expensive time of year.

but for some strange i always seem to go roughly around this time of year. :roll:
 
Just found out from the BBC that it's 99.9% confirmed for the weekend of Friday 06 August - Sunday 08 August.
 
Wikkid!! Planning on going from July 31 - Aug 14 to catch Radio 1 weekend and Paul Van Dyk at Cream... first and only time I went was during this time in 2002 and it was EPIC!!! Defo want to catch it again!

Its horrendous - full of Kev's who like 'Dance' music and 'DJ s' like Pete Tong and Dave pearce. Should save themselves some money and stick to the Radio 1 road shows in the UK !!

I was very grateful that it was on whilst I was in Ibiza last year, cause it acted like a sheep pen and kept them all contained in one area far away from me! :lol:

according to Radio 1, it's already 99/9% confirmed for the first weekend in August
