Quietest beach?

Will be doing some chilling before the carnage starts at the Space Opening, but i'm embarrased to say ive not visited any beaches outside Ibiza Town or San Antonio area.

Can anyone recomend good secluded beaches for next weekend? doesnt matter how far. I've seen lots of beaches on guides on websites but they ALL look brilliant. I'd like to hear from personal experience.

Also how do people get back to the appartment? Do they have to get the taxi's number and call them to get picked up at a certain time??

Thanx in advance

Ferd, get a ferry and go to Formentera, once there rent a bike or a scotter if you can ride moppeds and go to Illetes or Migjorn or to Es Caló d'es Mort.
Take a look here: http://public.fotki.com/Supersil/formentera03/

Really really worth it 8)

my recommendations (apart from the formentera ting) are to try any of th beaches north of san antoni, up to benirras or any of the beaches north west between es canar round to portinax.

all lovely, all much quieter. my faves are c.st vincent, agues blanques (sp) and calla conta

Shame on you Ferd. I don't think i want to know you anymore!

Try Cala Conta. It's quite small and secluded and has some of the nicest waters in Ibiza. I'm sure there are more secluded places but i've not been to them.

Benirras is my fave beach 8)

Thanks guys (& girls) 8) . I'll run it by the mates im going with, see what we agree on.

Bubble when you go for short weekends like I usually do there isnt much time for anything  . I usually do my chilling in mainland Spain anyway ;)

Course you can! :D

I mainly have a "relaxed" holiday when I visit my family in Leon or in Avila. We still go out a bit, but we dance to the likes or Enrique Iglesias, Chenoa and David Bisbal. Not the stuff you hear in Ibiza ;)

My parents also have a chalet just south of Alicante. Havent used it yet, but i'm keen on going there for a relaxing holiday later on in the summer. 8)

I never put you down as an Enrique fan Ferd ;)

Back to beaches, as they all said, and if you can make the effort do do do Formentera :D

Ferd, you can't run away from Chenoa or David Bisbal in summer 8O ;)

My favourite cove is Cala Salada, a bitch to find but well worth the effort. I especially like parking way back and walking down to the beach through the pine forest.

P.S. Cala Vadella is also nice.

Hello Drew, Cala Salada is a virgin beach or is it a spoilt beach?
Thanks. Cheers.

It's not a virgin beach but neither it is a spoiled beach.

It's more pebble'y that sand but it's such an idylic setting. There is a cafe and restaurant built into the rock face too which is quite authentic and CHEAP!

Here'a pic (doesn't do it justice though) ....

there is another small beach to the left of the one shown in the photo. it's a bit of a hike to get there but the reward is a quiet sandy beach (assuming that the path is now open, as one of the neighbours had blocked it so people couldn't pass)

Thanks Drew, I probably visit it when I go in august. You can see from the picture what type of beach it is.
Cheers. :D :D

We noticed that and quite a few people were gaining access by going over the rocks or through the water.
