Yes Nishadance - less than 5 minutes walk.

yeah man, come out of the new main entrance, ie bear left when off the trains past the ticket office, hmv, kfc et al, down the escalators to where all the cabs are, right onto whitworth st, then 2nd right over canal st (dont stop though ;) ) and your there!! ;)

NB beware though, i beleive the liverpool train stops at platform 13 or 14, which is a bit away from the main platforms, so you take the escalators up, then over and down platform 10/9 to the main concourse and follow signs for metrolink/taxis down the escalators ;)

and buckleys 5 mins walk is a tad incorrect, leave yourself 10-15 to be safe ;)

Maybe at your age JJ, or perhaps you get the mobility (old folks) bus and it takes a while to get you loaded up :P

You can walk to Hulme from Picadilly in 15 mins for god sake man!

You can walk to Hulme from Piccadilly in 15 mins for god sake man!

maybe with 10 of the locals who covet yer trainers in hot pursuit.

Mr B, it will take nishter at least 5mins, once disembarking the train, to reach the main exit. Then he has to cross london road, walk 300yds up whitworth st, then walk up chorlton st to the bust station.......ok 10mins tops, maybe more if he has luggage??? come to think of it, you used to be able to get directly from platform 13/14 to street level via a staircase, dunno if you still can though??

I think you're allowing time for loitering around Sackville St JJ!
