Question about Mambo Cafe

So I was looking at the Mambo Cafe schedule and was wondering, is the lineup for each night the same as the one at the actual club? For instance i was interested in seeing SHM or Guetta at mambo and avoid getting packed in at Pacha either night, do they play every week at Mambo on Thursdays and Mondays? What time do they normally spin at? And what is the normal ticket cost to get in?

Thanks!

Not sure if they are there all the time however Mambo is free to get in although you probably won't actually be inside the venue you will probably be stood on the decking out the front.

As I understand it, and please anybody correct me if I'm wrong, Mambo is an official pre-party venue for the bigger nights at the Superclubs. (This season all week is Pacha, apart from one night which is Amnesia if memory serves me right?)

Just because it is the pre-party for Masquerade Motel on a Monday for example, doesn't neccessarily guarentee that any of the SHM will be at Mambo, just that that is the official affliation and they will likely have reps and PRs looking to ferry the crowd in that direct later on in the evening.

Although, if the bigger names do make special appearances at Mambo, then of course they are going to do so on the night which is the pre-party for their brand.

nothing is guaranteed but usually a dj from the night is there to do a small set

i;ve seen Morillo, Sanchez there before

There is usually a DJ from the headline act there most nights...... think Mambo pay for it. Usually they come on between 10.30 -11pm and are well gone by midnight.

ive also seen the likes of morillo and geutta there, there are normally posters up that day or the day before saying if there is going to be a headline act if not tere is usually someone from that night playing though.

Basically every Monday will be a SHM pre-party, but varies on who/if any of the headliners will be there. As stated, usually at least one of the headliners show up. Best bet is to just see what the flyers and posters say on the day of... you can't miss them as they are EVERYWHERE hahaa

You will have to buy drinks aswel if you want to stand near the cafe, otherwise you will be moved on by the bouncers.

How timess have changed in Mambo...:(
back in the early 2000>2006. No bouncers & you could go up & speak to the Dj's playing/photos taken ect.

Had a messy night with Steve Lawler after he done an hour set in 2002.
We tanned some ammonut that night..............:D
When I saw him back in Glasgow a few months later @ Colours he was dead embarrased lol

Mambo has been sh1t for pre parties for a few years now in my opinion. You can't hear the music unless you are 3 feet away from the speakers.

I avoid going to mambo if guetta or the swedes are playing - the amount of people crowded round the booth is ridiculous. Always preffered the pre parties at Kanya and Coastline anyway...

I see that Mambo is listed as an official pre-party for the Cadenza crew on Sundays...
However, with them advertising big names at their other official pre-party over at Ushuaia does this mean we shouldn't expect any headliners at Mambo???

Saw SHM there last Monday but on Wednesday Morillo was a no show, Jose Nunez was doing the pre-party.

It was quiet compared to usual.....more enjoyable 8)

the parties in ushuaia aren't on sunday buth thursday (bi-weekly), so you can't considerate them as a pre-party for the cadenza parties in pacha

look who they have today.....
