QUEST - THE LAUNCH SERIES
QUEST launches in London with an unprecedented series of three events at Warehouse Nightclub, North London. Spring 2015.
PART ONE
For PART ONE - 14 March, 2015, Quest has programmed an exciting quartet of headline acts in Max Chapman, Chris Lattner, East End Dubs and last but certainly not least;
SAYTEK
We couldn't think of a better way to say to the industry that we mean business than to secure the UK's most talented and exciting Live act for our launch series. And are very proud to announce Saytek, not only as one of our headline acts, but as exclusive resident for all three forthcoming events. patrons of Warehouse are in for a truly unique experience.
NOTE: This is the industry launch and we will also be reserving 200 free entry places for industry people, i.e. people who work for a London promotion, are in the music media, work in music PR or book/manage artists within our scene - please send names and who you/what represent to info@questsessions.com
PART TWO - 11 April, 2015 see's us pay homage to the London talent that we feel have been making the right moves in the capital in recent months. This local talent joins headline resident Saytek, in what will be a fun, and surprising night for our party goers.
With Saytek headlining solo this time, we have had to scout and hire the services of some seriously talented and well respected Londoners to keep the quality levels high; And they don't come any more talented and relevant that his Cubism label partner, Mark Gwinnett. Mark will be warming up perfectly for Saytek as he has done so many times over the years, including on six occasions at Fabric nightclub.
Joining them will be the ever popular Will Taylor, who after finishing his maiden season in Ibiza 2014, playing weekly at Sankeys, will be bringing his brand of pronounced House music to that Warehouse soundsystem! Another Londoner that we can't get enough of right now is G W Harrison; resident at ABODE, and very talented behind the decks - a pleasant surprise for the many patrons of Warehouse on the 11th April, we think. We also have Dysfunctional boss Vishaal Laurent (billed as Sculpture) joining us, and lastly we welcome Rhys Samson on board, who, fresh from an invite to play for the formidable WetYourSelf at Fabric, will be treating our crowd to a delightful blend of smooth bouncy synths and considered drops that will truly captivate all within hearing distance.
PART THREE - 09 May, 2015 and we get back to international bookings. Anëk (Viva Warriors) and Reset Robot join Saytek on the top billing, and we also welcome friend and rising star Pete Dorling along for a jam as well as Nightowl frontman Dominic Longley, who will be bringing his particular style of boundless big room House along with him.
All the gaps will be filled by Quest's very talented residents; Andrew Miles, Dan Valente, Hi-Life, and Steve Toombs. Watch out for these guys!
THE TERRACE
The wonderful outside area at Warehouse will be hosted, for all three events, by our good friends at Shouldn't Really.
Shouldn't Really share our principles. They believe in quality over quantity, and focus on scouting out the very best talent around, and showcasing them to the world. A true 'Room 2' specialist that do not rely on getting any old DJ to sell tickets, rather let the DJ express themselves creatively and use them as a stepping stone to greater things.
A credit to the scene.
THE RETURN OF THE CHILL-OUT ROOM
One thing that we at Quest feel should make a return to the nightclub is the chill-out room.
Unlike other promotions, who are using 'room 2's' to slap some extra DJ's who might bring a few more heads/sell a few tickets, we have identified an opportunity with the Room 2 at Warehouse to create something truly unique and special for our clubbers.
Imagine walking through a thick curtain in to a room filled with ambient sound ticking along in the background, not a single 4/4 beat within hearing distance; just chill-out Electronica ticking along.
We see this space as somewhere our patrons can take 15 mins away from the main room to take in a new experience or two, such as a random 'trippy' movie projected on the wall, neuro and sensual experiences, incense burning, soft furnishings scattered and psychedelic wall-hangings surrounding you; a nod to the true chill-out rooms and areas of the original raving days.
Thanks all
Hope to see you there
