Qu about DC10?

Hi

Was just wondering whether the crow that goes to circo loco is mainly just the poeple who were at space and have just moved venue in the morning?

I know this might sound lame but we are there for two sundays and so thought it might be an idea to have a chilled one on the first Sun (i.e Not do Space....well until 6am anyway) and do DC10 fully. So am basically wondering whether we would be in the minority of people just coming to DC10 only i.e to make a day of it instead of as an after party.....

Cheers

DC10 must get more threads about it than anywhere else. All sorts of people go there, I've never seen any crows but anything is possible. There is a high percentage of victims there straight from Space which I think is largely what creates the atmosphere, but just go whether you have been or not, you'll have a great time. Odds are if you go first week you will go back the next week after Space anyway.

The first time I went to DC10, I'd been up all night at El Divinon & then drinking beer at Crossiant Show. By the time I got to DC10 I was so freaked out, I had to leave at 2pm. Missed Rithcie Hawtin. If you can afford the luxury, do DC10 proper (get there for a bout 10am) the first time around, then do Space the week after and decide if you want to DC10 it again. I did the whole day DC10 then finished off at Bora Bora once it got too crowded. One of the best days I've ever had!

It is a bit mad, but that's what makes it. One massive piece of advice. Take a pair of shades to hide behind!

i'm gonna hit space at 2pm sunday and stay there til 4 or 5 then homefully head back and get some rest before hitting DC10 at 2pm again til cocoon at night! wish me luck!

I know you can overplan so going to play it by ear but like the sound of doing space and get a few hours kip and heading down to DCC-10 early afternoonish. Our hotel is next to space so should be ok.

Being greedy and getting excited at the thought of being able to do 2 Sundays at space!

Am planning if were still standing to go to Pacha for Roger Sanchez on the mon and then take tuesday off....bit of a long shot I think tho!

Not a longshot at all... that's my plan for this June (We Love -> nap -> DC10 -> Sanchez) though I might give up one of 2 possible Sanchez dates for Cocoon...

It's much more fun going to DC10 feeling a bit wrong and after having no sleep after Space   Sleep is for losers

In that case, I love losing.

Me too.

DC10 must be quite a harsh experience if you're getting that "end of your tether" feeling (comparable only to stepping into the horror pit that was Royal Oak after a night's clubbing and no sleep).

You did well in June last year, you only had a half hour Gollum nap  ;)

I'm probably gonna have a nap this year 'cos I really really really want to go to cocoon too after DC10 for Miss Kitten.

Thus sleep is necessity if I actually want to feel alive in there 8O

I'll probably nap from about 6am til mid day, get up feeling ROUGH, line the stomach with a bowl of cereal and then down some vinos and grab a taxi to DC10

A gollum nap makes all the difference though.

 It's the way you sneak off and pretend you're just going to the toilet and then we realise you've crawled into the nearest bed

 I feel wrong going to DC10 'normal', I think DC10 is best when you're already a bit wrong

wrong clubbing = amazing, hence why afterparties are so fun  :p

I like that midday feeling when you decide to carry on a bit more, just to see what happens
