I see that you go to London a fair bit from Newcastle and was just wondering how...

Trying in vain to get from London to Newcastle on the 1st September and the only airport on any airlines that goes there is Bristol and is crap times. Just wondering how you do it as I am having real troubles. Bear in mind, this is on the cheap as I'm only going for the day ( for the football ).

If I'm trying to get a train from London to Newcastle, I'd guess at a no. And even from then I'll probably be coming from Bognor Regis / Bournemouth. Clubs don't put on any coaches for home games. Only supporters clubs put on coaches from large cities to games, which I don't know exist for Newcastle, London Supporters club has died and that was all I knew of.
 
Now spent 2 hours trying to sort this to no avail. I have had enough of sorting stuff lately and am gonna go mental ! Massively pissed off.

I do the train SP, its more relaxing..... and I also get free train tickets through my boss at work....:oops::oops:

Book it well in advance (book singles) and you can do it for around £60 return usually

Ah ha. Nice. Basically, I can't do it. I hate our train service so much. You can get singles from London to Newcastle for 12.90 and same back which would be good but I'd have to be Kings Cross at 6AM and then be able to get back from Kings Cross at 12.30AM following day and there is no trains running at that time to get me back to Bournemouth or Bognor. So annoyed. They charge me £30 to get 40 minutes down the coast from Bournemouth to Bognor, yet to Newcastle 350 miles away, is £12.90. Good one. :spank:

I'll have to be content with away games and the mighty cherrries.
