Back in the day , there was simply nothing like it and no other competition. I remember going the year after mike pulled the plug (or was booted out , depending on which side you were on) and it just seemed flat and empty. Being as vast as it is , it needs a full promotions team who believe in the party ethos but , sadly , i think this years line up , which looks stronger than it has for a long time , is still not going to draw in the crowds. What would it take..?? Well if coxy and sasha cant fill it then its time for a serious rethink about throwing wild , debauched parties again because , lets face it , its what we all really enjoyed back then.... apart from the dwarf monkey parade , that was f***ing terrifying..haha

I believe Cox will be able to fill the venue and put on a very good night simply because he only has 2 dates and his line ups are very good for all different crowds. Cox has universal appeal to all sorts old and young.
However Sasha and Digweed could have abit more trouble! Even though I'm young I would am attracted to them but I am very much into my music. A lot of young people may not actually care about them that much

Interesting, well be there on that date. Wonder if it's main room or Vista?barnt announced a gig at privilege on facebook - july 4th / maeve - sounds interesting

Digeeed played Edinburgh last year and think they ended up only opening half the venue. Sasha playing in July and they are only using one room. Think they will struggle in the big room tbh.

Privilege is somewhere you go once,might have a good time and after that it gets a bit shite..
Even in Manumission days??
I still think they've been clever with the supporting line ups to get people in. When they played at Ultra Miami it was absolutely rammed and it was the second biggest stage. I'd be a bit worried if our EDM loving American cousins flock to see Sasha/Digweed but us Brits/Europeans don't. We'll see..

Main room was always open yes but most of the time with a curtain to divide the room and keep half or less for the party

Sasha had a very small crowd to begin with at Pacha on Friday. He was on very early, but I suppose that tells its own story when he's on 3rd on the bill.

Early Manumission days were special. Nothing could beat that place full, never wanted the night to end.

At Rumors last year with Gerber, there was a lack of ppl of people as well for Sasha, but he was on early. Will still see him no matter what

Only saw it at capacity the one time I went to manumission. After that it was meganite and monza - half capacity. The last time I went to privilege it was monza but there was only about 500 people in the main room and curtained off beyond belief...
