Privilege's lack of decent events

I suggest you give it another try this year then

I know you can't give too much away, but in terms of the work they have done over the winter - are we talking a new sound system and / or work to the outside garden bit etc, or a general tidy up all over?

it'll still be privilege, but a lot of details have been improved. floors (the actual flooring), toilets, bars, sound system, general clean up. lots of things you maybe won't even actively notice, but it'll just have a much more clean and well-kept aspect.

and then there's stuff I can't tell just yet :)

just won't be the same if the toilets don't flood

IMO they should keep one night of the week free and do special one-off events.

Not even every week; but book live acts such as Faithless, Underworld etc or even like Ushuaia have done in the past with artists such as Snoop Dogg.

And I know this doesn't cater to everyone's taste; but I'm just thinking from a business sense here. if they can get 8-10k people to the club in one night that's surely better than having a weekly night in vista which struggles to get a 1000 heads in each week.

^^^ This. Call it "PRIVILEGE LIVE" or something equally ambiguous.

Book the kind of acts that Ibiza Rock's can't afford. To the above I'd add Aphex Twin, Orbital, Chemical Brothers.

privilege 2017

F1 sound system installed and tuned by the same guy that used to do space

general overhaul of the venue

decent events ;)

Absolutely buzzing that Privilege is back. Always felt it was a bit of a sad reflection. Dare I say it but Space closing could be one of the best things to happen to Ibiza in terms of mixing things up a bit.

they had the Privilege live one season way back
IIRC it was a mix of dance headliners and the likes of Kylie
couldn't have been that big a success as it lasted one season?

or am i imagining it?
