Privilege's lack of decent events

Dunno about that

I only know this as there was pictorial evidence posted on here at one point. Can't find the picture though.

If it does still work they potentially could open early with the roof open then close it before midnight.

The place needs a bit of love but with a bit of money spent on it, it could be amazing again. The Coco Loco / Vista clubspace is awesome with the sun coming up. I'm more a fan of small sweatbox type clubs but the main room always took my breathe away. It's so surreal to be in such a gargantuan space.

I think it'd need a clever rethink and a much bigger soundsystem.

Yeah, when I last visited the place in 2015 it seems like it was falling to bits. I wouldn't have been surprised if the dance floor collapsed into the pool :D

I last visited Ku/Privilege in 2008 for monza closing. Had some hierbas or tequila with @stivi in the garden. Was the 6th night of a VERY messy holiday. To Stivi's credit he recognised me in Space in September, not bad going considering there was 8 years between meetings.

All these rumours are great news for Privilege though, since Tiesto, then after that Sense of Trance left it hasn't had any events that really pull in the crowds.. Music On would be great there, its almost outgrown Amnesia being far too busy.

Does anyone know if there's any truth in the rumour that Carl Cox will be playing several dates at privilege over the coming season?
