Privilege - one off acts/djs

Like a previous poster said though, Tiesto aside, how do they manage to keep the club open for the other 6 nights?

We ended up going to a faces night last year (got given free entrance in Ibiza Town, and was on the bus back from San An, so thought why not), and most of the club was shut. It was only the area by the swimming pool open all night. No use of the big screen, nothing. When the club is full, or as full as it normally is for Tiesto, it's an experience. Other than that... meh. I've yet to see room two open, either year I've been.

What else could they do with the club? Oh, and hopefully, they'll put the waterfall back in this year!

Going back to Grego, the cost of daft punk isn't the issue, its the fact that they decided to remain quite for the last few years. Justice did the same thing for 2 years, but released a new track this year...... So a night of Daft Punk with Justice resident in the future would be epic. (if the operators of Privilege are reading this, please get Daft Punk!!!!!!!!)

WE all know Ku is a v.large club and getting numbers through the door is an issue, but if it is packed (like on the radio 1 weekend), then I think we can all agree the atmosphere is something special.

For Tiesto, it does'nt help that the Swedes have taken such a large number and also Cocoon and DC10 operating. Surly Tiesto moving to a Wednesday would have been better????

- David Guetta, as mentioned earlier, would be able to fill it. Charging €70 at Pacha is a bit of a joke, and he could easily charge €50 instead at Ku as it can get a bigger crowd whilst still getting the same amount of money.

I would of loved to have gone back in the Manumission days. I found a load of flyers for it on Google Images which look really cool.

Just another thought, Manumission stopped at Privelege as the owners fells out with it and it did not suceed at Ammnesia. Privelege was sold to new owners last season as well (I think - is this right McRackin???). Now if I recall, wern't manumission planning to do something similar at some London theatre last year or the year before????
....... Now I know bringing nights back can be dangerous territory, but from what I heard, Manumission was very successful, so..... as we know, anything is possible, so could we possibly see a return in the future????

privilege has been owned by the same person since it was privilege.

btw - i disagree about the cost of daft punk. we're not talking a 50k dj set fee here. stick a zero on the end and you'd be closer. almost impossible to make money from it with a 10,000 capacity venue.

Fair enough.... we can keep dreaming!!!!

To charge that amount would surely indicate that they dont really want to do it but would do it for the money in true Oakenfold style????
