Who's been & was it worth it?

I'm not a big trance fan & am certainly not a commercial vocally trance person, but my hubby likes trance. Is it worth going for the show? I can't make my mind up on where to go. My clubbing schedule is 13-17 aug. Time is limited in terms of the number of days I have to go clubbing so ultimately my aim is to have fun. Party atmosphere, happy people, good vibe & banging beats!

Any advice welcome as I've been out of the scene for a while...

Thanks!

It's a good night, was very busy when we went.
Music isn't really trance, it's much more similar to what the Swedish House Mafia play.
Google Club Life 121 and Club Life 129 and have a listen to the both of them, that's more or less what he plays now.

Tiesto @ privilege

Heading out to Ibiza for the first time on the 1st September!! Has anyone been to see Tiesto yet? any good this year? My head is torn between Tiesto or Sander van Doorn at Space! But I guess I need to experience Privilige in any case?

Some people seem to love tiesto some dont, i personally think its 100% worth a visit to privilege while its busy, and Tiesto was brilliant when i saw him last year! im going again anyway!

personally i don't rate privilege that high, i think that club visually is spectacular, but in terms of atmosphere i don't think it generates it like amnesia and pacha do

Well worth it, the place was rammed but you still had room to dance, I couldn't believe how big Privledge was...played most of his club life tunes, sometimes it seemed he just put a CD on and let it play which annoyed me, I like to see a DJ go for it on the ones and twos, bit like Carl Cox does etc. You'll have a good time, glad I went.
