Preparing music for Ibiza

I think too much house and chillout music during your stay in gods own island can get a bit too much, so i always take a few other kinds of music across, the flaming lips, doves, stone roses, elbow, death in vegas. I dont know about you but all kinds of music sound amazing in ibiza. (Except your euro pop trance crap, sorry but its bollox). 8O

i for 1 will be taking tupac along so i can kick back and smoke a phat ass joint with and probably be taking coldplays album too

A suggestion- get a CD player with MP3 playback and take copies of all CD's- that way, you can take much bigger mixes, and if it gets sandy/robbed, it's not as much out of pocket.

will be taking some of my own mixes as usual

tend to take 2 usually

1 more house with a laidback, vocal feel to it
1 more tribal, progressive house - that bit dirtier :D

I used to be right in to trance but now ive went off it and moved into deeper and funky house.
Apart from the odd tune (eg. PVDs new one) trance is pretty boring, u know more or less whats going to happen and it is deviod of emotion and funkless.
House is also a lot more fun to mix with IMO as a lot more can be done with it.
Mayb its just me gettin older but does anyone else feel the same. :?: [/quote]

i think the thing to do is bring your best music, the music you really like, that can represent you the best.
peace and good luck:)
