Pre clubbing guilty feeling......

Got that (apprehensive) Friday feeling

Isn't it strange.....I have been So.......looking forward to the boat party and other London party shenanigans since I was last out clubbing 3 weeks ago. Almost to the point of like its a holiday (I suppose it is in a way a city break) Been really excited all week and now I get up today and my subconscious is saying don't do it, it's all wrong

I don't always feel like this, normally only when it is something planned well in advance with a high level of expectation :?:
I know I'm too analytical about these things  so will someone tell me tonight on the boat when I'm having a great time that its was all a load of nonsense ;)

It's fear that you'll be disappointed! I've got the same feeling slightly, but mainly I'm just ganting to get on with it ;)

i tell myself i will only over indulge once a month and have otherwise fairly normal nights out apart from that every week. i.e just alcohol! so when having a weekend off having been out several nights in the week drinkin. i go to the pub for sunday lunch. figure im pretty safe the weekends nearly over right? one bottle and a half of wine later, "lets go town" says my friend. being one who can't say no we go and don't get in till 10 the next morning! i feel a bit guilty. me and my mate always look at each other every weekend when were at another after party, "what we doin?" feeling guilty. the way i make myself feel better now is to say oh well if i had decided to go work in ibiza this year again. i would of been out of it every night. so really were bein good! :D

Spot on Mark!
Too many expectiation higher possibility to be disappointed :D

In my old glory days best nights and days usually were the unexpected parties, the days you just do down the bar for a couple of drinks and you find the right people (or wrong, depending how you look at it ;) ) and you 15 hours later you are in a beach bar still going on ;) :D ;) :D

I promise you won't be disappointed - there's so many great people coming, we've got some top drawer talent playing and the weather's looking great! And I've got my party head on too!*

*Admittedly, this could be where the whole thing goes tits up!

I get the same, I can never relax untill I get to the club / boat :D. Once i get in it takes me a drink or two to relax and get my party head on

I never feel the slightest bit guilty when going clubbing, always excited, anticipating the night ahead.

Exactly, why would you feel guilty for doing something you enjoy :?

If I felt guilty everytime I went clubbing I'd be spending half my life repenting for my 'sins'

And going a bit further, if you feel guilty every time or most of the times you go clubbing probably you should think about it

used to get it (think ive actually started a thread on here about it in the past)

I just get stuck right in now.

perhaps I've overplayed this a bit :?

I don't feel riddled with guilt, just a little less excited on the day than the build up for the last 3 weeks.
I thinks it's like Mark said...all in the anticipation :?:

I haven't read this thread (maybe i should) but why should i or anyone feel guilty about going clubbing?
