Powders in hold luggage

Somebody brought me over a two kilo bag of pet friendly weed killer (something that I mentioned I had found difficult to get here) in their hand luggage the other week. I thought that they were crazy but they had no problem bringing it through.

For example liver salts? Is this wise or is it asking for problems?

Christ.

Why would it be a problem...I think we all know..

Don't for a second consider taking anything through customs, my mate was swabbed for no reason other thn having a beard! Nothing worth 5 years mate.

Yeah why would something that looked similar to cocaine or speed ever be a problem when going through airport security?

I never carry anything through that looks even remotely like drugs. I want to get off the plane and into a taxi as quickly as possible without a policeman getting all suspicious over multi-vitamins or something.

I think that anything you can buy in a chemist in the UK you should be able to get something very similar in a farmacia over here. Either that or start eating a diet that actually agrees with you.
