Post holiday blues

I beg to differ on that one...long story but my trip was ruined one year by tight-arsed miserable so called friends who did nothing but moan and whinge the whole week about the music, the prices, the people, the food....etc. When we'd had enough and said we were going off to do our own thing they FOLLOWED us and continued to whinge like old ladies.

Needless to say we've never been on holiday with them again.

However, one bad year out of 10....can't complain

The bad year is always the one that stands out, innit? I tend to zero in on stuff llike that as well, but then I remind myself that it means that the other nine times were amazing and to make sure the one time never happens again. :)

Paris it certainly taught me a valuable lesson to get to know people a little more before you decide to spend more than 3 days with them

Lesson learned. You're the more wiser now.

I haven't been to Ibiza since 2009 and got the blues just reading this!

Now I know why I'm not married and always have my own means of escape ;)

Sounds like it could have been time for drastic measures .. e.g. :

1) The old let's all go the the beach then nip off to 'collect something' and abscond with the transport ...

2) Arrange rendez-vous at places you never show up to

3) Hire a car and live out of it for the rest of the holiday if rooms can't be found for a reasonable price somewhere (got to be better than what you describe ...)

4) Find new friends and bedhop ...

.. the list goes on !!

I always cry wen i leave ibiza & serious blues wen i get back, but im softening this by making sure I get out there every 8weeks or so :)
Got back to Uk this morning but back to Ibiza again in 7weeks :p

Wish it was easier to get to Ibiza in winter, particulary November and March/April. We need more flights and more open hotels. Any hotels with indoor pools would be a plus!
We'd come, honest.....and you need our money. Let us in!!

Back 3 weeks, depressed ever since!! First time on the island aswell..its another world out there!! The music, the clubs, the people, the ISLAND!! Strugglin here!!

I take around a month to recover normally :D
This time I have a 1 year old baby girl waiting for me when I get home though so I am not sure I will be as bad but I am already dreading it
