Possibily The Worst Week In Ibiza!!!!

Each to their own I suppose. Here are the nights my group have narrowed things down to (might change once we get to Ibiza though)

Monday 17th - Cocoon (Amnesia)

Tuesday 18th - Carl Cox Opening Party (Space)

Wednesday 19th - Club Azuli (El Divino)
Or
Wednesday 19th - Subliminal (Pacha)

Thursday 20th - Renaissance (Pacha)

Friday 21st - Pure Pacha (Pacha)
or
Friday 21st - Manumission Opening Party (Privilege)

Saturday 22nd - Hed Kandi (El Divino)

Sunday 23rd - We Love Space (Space)

hey koolworld, looks like you are doing pretty much the same as us...can't miss vibe/tanaglia/cox on tuesday and sasha/cattaneo at pacha will hopefully be a killer night....morillo, romero, etc etc, have a fab trip, see you near the stage with your head buried in a speaker stack somewhere :D

on occasions that i've been to pacha, space, dc10 and seen MAW, coxy, lawler, sasha - i've actually had worse nights than many of the times i've spent at eden or es paradis.

in your 'nightmare week' above there are still options. Both es paradis and eden have back rooms with different types of music, as does amnesia with its terrace and west end bars could mean absolutely anything.............have you never been to places like Viper:roll: :roll:

Have to agree with Grego, theres a distinct 'snob factor' on this board and many people see themselves as above others just because of their choice of music and/or venues they visit.8O

This is truely what i was told, no lie! They also looked extremely puzzled when i told them i was seeing Carl Cox's opening @ Space, Sasha @ Pacha, + Manumission Opening party.

With all due respect to anyone reading this who is doing similar to the week above, I hope you have a wicked time and your Ibiza experience is fantastic - but personally :

I´ve been to Space a couple of times during the last years (WLS, Cox etc) and don´t really feel at home there... so I´m really looking forward to my Amnesia/Priv/Eden nights this year

in my memories the WLS for example (arrived at 10pm) in the diskotheka people were not really in a party mood, a bit pushy, not much dancing. The terazza (?) isn´t our thing at all, we stayed inside.
The Cox night (in at around 00.30) was packed, but the vibe didn´t seem to catch with the audience. Spent most of the time on that balcony in the Diskotheka. A couple of friends were there that night and found it great - seems we´re just not made for space.

Another friend spends 7 out of 10 days at Space (with CoCoon the only exception), be it night or day...

Space? no thanks

I´d rather spend my sunday on the beach and save my breath for other parties :)

I think hes just surprised that someone would rather spend the day at the beach rather than go to space:oops:
 
Alright Everyone,

I'm new to posting on the board, but have been browsing for a bit.

I'm going out on the 19th - 26th August staying in San Jose hills in a lush looking villa with 8 likeminded amigos.

To me the line up in question isn't up my street, but just think... if they weren't grinding to Westward, they might be in the same place as me! IMO, these sort of nights are put on to keep numpties out of my face!

Sorry if i upset any uber-PC people out there.

My wish list from Santa last year was

Sunday: Space (Miss Kittin Grrrr)
Monday: Circo Loco
Weds: Pacha (Lawler and Morillo)
Friday: Possibly Manumission.

I know what you mean and I Knew what you meant, but "each to their own" and a lot of 8O just cos someone have a different idea of a sunday than you doesn't macht, that's my point ;)
 
i agree, but for me the worst thing that cud happen is going for something at SPACE. BUT as someone said, each to their own. im defo not into eden, es paradis on a decent nite can be ok, west end is a big phat NO, and amnesia is however a good club. none wrong with dat one,
this year i MUST DO hed kandi. i say it every freaking year and never get around to it!
