is anybody else getting porno popups when they click on this site?

this is a serious question

(james could it be someone has tampered with something or could i have a virus?)

No, Im not.

It sounds spyware installed on your PC.

It most likely installed itself on your PC when you were browsing porn sites! (ye dirty buggar!!) lol

Ill dig up some software that will get rid of it for you.

Sorry, had to laugh at: "This is a serious question"

But yeah, it could be that your PC has downloaded a small program that brings up porn pop-ups or maybe a dialler. Possibly check what programs are running with Ctrl+Alt+Delete and see if anything with a dodgy name comes up.

Or just use Ad-aware to clear your PC of Spyware: www.lavasoft.de

I get no popups. Agree with the others, I used to have this happen when surfing until visiting an astronomy site which wouldn't let me in as the site detected the spyware discussed above.

The site pointed me to some software that detected & removed such nasties.

BTW these popups, they popup windows based entirely on ones surfing habits ;)

Ths software scans ur pc, and informs you of the installed bots, and asks if to remove them. And does so @ your request! Trouble is, the removal software could well install it's own bot, but @ least ya don't get the annoying popups!!!!

Mine is now as clean as a whistle (i think!!).

thanks for that. my sister in law sent my wife a suspicious chain letter so maybe that is the cause.....

I'm getting a lot of seafood adverts whenever I visit this site, John West, Ross Frozen Fish Products, Mr Shrimp.......... I think it's prawnography :p

you can remove the spyware thats installed in your computer. It often times gets installed in your computer when you install programs such as imesh or kazaa for mp3 downlods.....anyhow to remove it from your computer go to www.downloads.com and get Ad-aware (its free). Install it and run it and it will do the trick

good luck!
