When did you first start going clubbing and what was your first EVER club?

Mine was Es Paradise in 1995
Then High Spirits in Leicester / Passion / Progress

Metropolis in North Sydney, 1990. I think the name of the night was 'Fresh' and it was a club for kids below legal drinking age. Great concept, it meant we could go to a proper club with respected DJs and the bar just sold juice and soft drinks. In a way it set me up well for proper clubbing, as it was all about the music and dancing from the start. I also pulled my first girlfriend there ;)

My first was Trax in Washington, DC in 1988 (at age 16... thank god for fake IDs!).

Other early venues included 9:30 Club in DC and Metro, Axis, Avalon, and Venus de Milo in Boston.

carl cox @ the drome, birkenhead c.1991 (aged 108O 8O )

first 'proper' time was cream @ nation in 19968) 8)

As I was a dorset boy I think my first time was Slinky at the bournemouth centre of arts or something - 17th birthday I think? Anne Savage and Lisa Lashes b2b which greatly excited me at the time

Had to get the 2hr bus home to my little village at 6am 8O

Did you ever go Vague? I wish I had started clubbing earlier!

There's a name from the past - yay went to it @ the Warehouse in Leeds. Plus Up Yer Ronson and Hard Times, Leeds was such a fab city in the early 90s.
