so to those of you who have been there and back
at the current season

whats going on with the boys in green/white
are they around all the clubs or just space/dc10
how low will they go to check you up
and most importanly what do they do if they find "somthing"

cheers

i went to space, amnesia, dc10, and pacha, and didn't see one policeman/women at any of the clubs.

The only time i encounted them was on the way home from amnesia one morning.

Haven't seen them at the clubs since the Space and DC10 opening, but they're camped out on the roads. Look like they're set up to do random checks, but mostly they just stand around and talk to each other.

Was that after La Troya or Cream?

i was lucky... no run-ins with the cops

i was lucky... no run-ins with the cops even on mornings when I probably shouldn't have been driving home

after la troya.

This was when you were in the non-taxi?

I think I did see police outside of the WLS opening at one point, but they weren't near the entrance and didn't appear to be hassling anyone.

They're too unpredictable to say, best thing is to have your wits about you or not do drugs.

Is it just me that finds this a touch disturbing.
If you admitted to drink driving in the UK then there would be outrage on the forum.
Too many times I hear the same people that say the island gets mistreated come out with comments like this.

i went June 12th to space and was searched outside at 8am but they didnt seem that interested, the next day i was searched outside DC10 about 1pm very strict, lots of officers pulling over taxi's to search you and they even looked inside a friends boxer shorts

still they didnt look hard enough !!

so be carefull.

There was a similar thread last year about someone talking freely about how they drink drive in Ibiza and people were disgusted. If people have so little regard for their own lives then fine but they're putting hundreds of innocent peoples lives at risk too.

Back to the original topic, I didn't see any police when we were there in June but as always I say to people just act with the same care and caution as you would at home.

Drink driving is a shit thing to do no matter where you do it.

There is absolutly no excuse. Especially because your on holidy

They were hanging around in the car park at Amnesia at Cream opening around 5am when I used a pass out. They were not searching anyone though. Just patroling in their 4x4.

Never saw them at any other club when I was there is June.

At Amnesia>Ibiza Town from around 5am. They use a new kind of plaster or stick on your arm to check any use of whatever (and possible can rip your pin code too!) .

my brother, infront of Space mid June, was stoped by to cops.. they asked him if he had any drugs on him and he replyed "NO".. so they searched him and found a king size joint (LOL) with him, one of the cops said "HOLA" and started laughing.. he asked my brother "is this ALL for you only" they all started laughing.. it was cool... nothing happend.. took the J from him and asked him about his address back home in Dubai (which made my bro laugh his @$$ off.. and told the 2 cops "u 2 r more than welcome to visit Dubai".. had a couple of laughs.. and off he went back to his apt. to roll another one

they were just soooo coool with him... to a point that he keeps saying "the best cops are IBIZA cops" :?

I don't condone drunk driving.
