Please help me (1st-timer) with my 28/8 - 6/9 schedule

Ibiza 1st-timer pulling my hair out figuring out party schedule during the precious week+ (28/8 – 6/9) I’m there so thot I’d put it out to the vets on the board. Any feedback is well appreciated. Some key info is:

1) Staying at Bossa Mar (thus, right next to BB)
2) I guess…I’m gonna have to build in some rest time? When?
3) Also would love to check out other parts of the island, cafes, bars etc besides the big venues. I’ll need to dedicate some BB time too…..When?
4) Psy/Progressive trance are fave but like everything deep, dark, funky.
5) My birthday is 3 Sep so the night b4 is key!
6) I’m going alone (most likely – which is how I generally like it anyway)
7) Would love to make sure the following is a good mix of venues, atmospheres etc. so I can say I had as well rounded a cherry-popping as possible in a week!

28/8 Sun: Spun @ Privilege
29/8 Mon: Manumission (FischerSpooner!)
30/8 Tue: I could take a break here or do Carl Cox
31/8 Wed: LaTroya (I hear it’s good) or Subliminal (Morillo!)
1/9 Thu: Viva (LAWLER!) or Cream (can I possibly NOT do Cream?) – this is the hardest night to decide :?
2/9 Fri: Pure Pacha!!!
3/9 Sat: Def Mix (Satoshi!) – tho people seem to be down on Saturdays…..
4/9 Sun: WLS
5/9 Mon: Don’t know (not a big Sven nor Roger fan) but it’s my last night!! :cry:

Since you'll be at Privilege on Monday, why not try out Danny Tenaglia at Pacha on Sunday 28/8. He's definitely deep and dark. I have no idea what Spun is.

Wednesday do La Troya. Morillo = ICK!

Thursday...If you're looking for Trance and you'd rather do Space this night, then there's always Armada (Armin van Buuren) @ Amnesia on Tuesday nights? Just a thought.

Pure Pacha = ICK...again. I hate Friday's at Pacha.

Saturday. Go. You'll have fun. I go every Saturday, the place is packed, and the music is great.

Monday. Go to DC10 late-afternoon. It shuts down a bit past 11pm...you can decide then if you still want to keep going. If so, Bora Bora is a good choice.
 
its my birthday as well on the 3rd, so we're going to Ibiza Rocks on the Friday, a nice meal on the Saturday saturday, then saving my self for my first ever WLS @ Space!!! :D
 
yeah - i thot abt Tenaglia. plus I hear Flower Power is fun. tough for me to pass up a rare psytrance night at a big venue on my 1st nt though :)

i definitely think i'll take yr suggestion to do LaTroya. however as a 1st-timer, i doubt i could leave w/o trying Pure Pacha :roll: thanks for trying, tiff :D

laidlawjock, we'll have to meet up somehow at WLS and celebrate! cheers! :D

29/8 Mon: Manu if u'v never been there b4.. which im not a big fan of it..
30/8 Tue: Cox @ Space .. OR.. JJ & Kid Creme @ Pacha (should be verrry good!)
31/8 Wed: i would do Subliminal with Erick..
1/9 Thur: CREAM! PVD along with Gabriel & Dresden!! how better could it be!!?.. if ur not a Trance fan, then go to Deep Dish @ Pacha!! ;)
2/9 Fri: Pure insanity.. i mean Pacha ;)
3/9 Sat: ur call..
4/9 Sun: SANDER K.!!!! @ Pacha! thats the only day u would catch him! and Sander this year IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!... so take my advice and do WLS @ the first Sun ur there ;)
5/9 Mon: i heard Cocoon is a MUST-DO :roll:

it's surprising (& a li'l disappointing :( ) that there aren't more psy fans out there. I wonder if Spun is gonna be empty....

Cream vs Lawler continues to be the toughest decision tho you've thrown a couple of other tricky ones in the mix 8) here's a neophyte question then....WLS is listed as "a.m. + p.m." - what time span does that imply? If I wanted to hit Spun, could I also do part of WLS? Not sure what these timings really indicate :?

for sure let's meet up @ BB!! shall i just ask around for "who is St0NeD"? :lol:

coupla things are clearer now, like I think I'll hit Manu, LaTroya & PurePacha. Probably also do Cocoon the 2nd Mon but will play by ear. Also get in a li'l late on 28/8 to do WLS then so it'll have to be my 2nd Sunday. Bummed abt likely missing Sander K.

Still torn re: Cream vs Lawler as I luv both. And now, my earlier conviction about Spun (psy) on my 1st nt is shaky 'cos of the Tenaglia+Flower lure. Geez - this is worse than choosing cereal :lol:

the main lesson i've taken from this is like the other cherry-popping, once is probably not enough! i haven't even arrived yet and know i'm gonna have to return already...... 8)

Too many "normal" people at Cream when i went - don't think i'd go back there - I'd chose Space, that's where the proper party people are at.

No matter what you do, don't miss WLS or Circo Loco - if you go to Pacha then i'd go for the most underground night ie. Sander K, and the same goes for Amnesia, Cocoon or Armada would be better than Cream IMO.
