I will be in Scotland in late July visiting a friend. I really want to come to Ibiza but she can't afford it. Do I come by myself? I missed going to Ibiza last time I was in Europe and really don't want to again.
Ibiza is an amazingly friendly place and you will have no problem making friends and meeting people, I'm sure of that.
BUT the truth is that noone on here really knows what you are like or who you are, so therefore can't really advise you in your best interests (seeing as though noone knows what these are). do you understand??
only yourself and your close friends can advise/help on whether you should go alone or not. Once decided however, all of us here can then help you/advise on how to make the most of your trip.
Good advice Grego. Listen to your friends who won't be going and let them convince you that going by yourself will be a silly thing to do.
Has anybody ever heard of one solo-travelling Spotlighter who didn't have a good time? I've been lucky enough to have folks to go with, but it wouldn't stop me going alone. No way.
understand your point phil, but i know that the last thing any of my friends would want or try to do, is to stop me having a good time (even if they were missing out)
I am definitely the kind of person who can travel alone. I went to Mexico for a week alone and had a great time. But I'm not the type of person who enjoys going to a bar/club alone. So as long as I can be assured that people aren't opposed to letting someone join their group for the night out, I'll be good to go. And believe me I can keep up with the best of them. I am the person in the group who is always looking for the next afterparty; never wanting the night to end.
So that brings me to my next question...where should I stay? I'm thinking of coming July 27-July 30. Which side of the island is the most hopping or doesn't it really matter which side you stay on?
