PLAYA SOLEIL

Can anyone please tell me how strict the dress code is for Playa Soleil? I've seen reviews suggesting that people on the "guest list", i.e. the free nights when admission isn't charged, have been turned away. But I'm not sure whether that's actually because of a dress code, or because it's an easy excuse to turn people away when it's starting to get busy and they might want to leave space for others to be able to come in after the free entry time so that they can be charged entry.

...and does anyone know how likely it is that Guy Gerber's Rumors will be back there on Fridays this summer? Thank you

As far as I know or witnessed in person, you can wear pretty much what you like as long as it's clean 😉 but I've seen people wearing football shirts, vests and swimming gear being turned away.
Sometimes admission with free tickets might not happen if the venue has reached capacity so if you have one of those, I'll advise you to get a bit earlier than the cutting off time.
So far nothing has been said about Rumors and only a few other events have been announced.

When we were there (Andrea Oliva guest list), they wouldn't let anyone in wearing flip-flops. But then they did.

We had no problems with sneakers.

Sundance or Moon dance.. From 4pm. Actually seems it alternates on certain days per week

Is it a nice place to have a dinner and a warm up before the nightclubs or it is just for party?

We went last year or the year before, can’t remember, summed it opened. Dinner was nice, stylish crowd. Then you can stay on and party in the club room. It seems this summer with Sundance they are building more of a day party vibe. Let’s see

We are planning on doing the early part of the All I Need closing party but as an extension of a day on the beach bed.

Can you get a beach towel from there as we wouldn't want carry our own all evening?

I know the entrance to club is included with the double bed but what's the deal with any rucksacks we might have, can we just take it in, is there a place to store it, or can we get a wristband so we can go back and to leave stuff in hotel and then come back for a dance?

If anyone else has done something similar please let me know what's best option :)
