Heya I'm heading out to do my 2nd season in Playa Den Bossa at the beginning of May, everyone seems to be headin to San An, just wonderin if anyone was gonna be around my area, if you are message me and add me on msn...wud be good to chat before meeting up this summer!
 
do yourselves a favour & stay in PLAYA DEN BOSSA!!!!!!!!!!! 8)
i lived there last summer & it's still a little tacky & shit but no way near as bad as San An..........

that's my 2c anyways........ ;)

i stayed in this little white house that was situated right next door to Bull Bar Tavern...... I LOVED MY HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( dont think i will be living there again as i lived with another DJ whom was a little retarded!!!!! but THAT is another story...... :rolleyes:

i was working @ BASE BAR in the port & at a little bar in Bossa called MANOA.... i will be heading back there in may 2 DJ & generally cause a rukkus..... when are you getting there?
 
I'm headin over at the beginning of May, had a few offers but not sure where to go yet, Base Bar was great, started quite a few crazy nights out there...not sure if I went to Manoa, where abouts in Bossa was it? Know the white house ur talkin bout, cute! wasnt it attached to that disco place that never kicked off? Anyway, u added me to msn yet? I worked in a shithole called the Royal Tavern for half the summer, then a month in Hotel Garbi (wicked pool) and then 2 months in Big Ben, tacky but what a laugh..so give me your top Ibiza places then..

nah, my little "shack" wasn't attached to anything.....
it was all on it's lonesome, just the way i liked it!!!! ;)

Manoa was a little bar right opposite space!!!!
It was lovely...... still is no doubt.....

hahahaha..... hotel garbi hay? GREAT!!! do you know any of the boys & gals that worked PR for them? we might know some of the same people.....

Agree with u about Space and Pacha, still havent got a chance to see Morgana or La Diosa yet, budget was crap this summer and didnt have car so was difficult, but got to know the bus system inside out so for every cloud....Salinas is amazing, great atmosphere, but I really loved Cala Conta and the little hidden beaches around by Cala D'Hort, you get the best view of Es Vedra, and some of the beaches have little bars that play suuuuch good music. Did you ever go to a bar, just next to Dome, near Lola's, called Tira Palla? Wicked little place...recommend it for next summer if you aint been, anyway, chat soon!
 
hi shonette it will b my 1st time livin out in ibiza so am a bit worried but u seem 2 have enjoyed it so u have put my mind @ ease a bit :) x
 
glad 2 hear it,where abouts u headin this summer? dont worry it will go great as long as you get there early enough in season and have a couple of people out there you know, i went out alone last summer and that was the hardest part, but you make so many friends, im still in touch with so many now, cant wait to see em in may!

playa den bossa is a nice place to stay in but i know san an and the people there so it just feels safer heading there again... and more brits there too its like being at home... only not

i dont wanna be a bitch but WHY do you travel ANYWHERE if all you are going 2 do is hang out with other english people? :rolleyes:
 
who said that i hang out just in san an??? just cause i plan on staying there doesn't mean to say that i'll leave town.... last season i stayed in san an and spent very little time there...

as for hanging out with english people... you can't deny that its safer to be around people you are familiar with... there are alot of bad folk on the island and you can't be too careful... i know people that have been mugged, beaten up and harrassed by other ethnic groups it just makes sense...

Heya to mc rackin....looked at the pix...v nice....u headin out this year too? where u stayin? so u a big fan of sa penya bars too?

about the semi argument about socialisin only with the english....i understand the point but believe me, this will be my sixth year goin bk to ibiza, second season spent workin, and of all the dodgy people ive met 99% hav been english...and i know we're not crap people, but just seems to be the case on ibiza....and im sure everyone who knows ibiza well enough will agree the ibizans are the nicest people you'll meet if u get past the initial stand-offishness...after all just realise the english they see is the people slumped in the gutters of san an. didnt mean to ramble..just had to get that out!
