Places you haven't been yet...

Well I've been going to Ibiza since 94 and having read alot of the brilliant reviews on here there's still loads of places I haven't been to yet so this year for me I've definitely got to get up to the North side of the Island (only really been to cala san vincente) ... Benirras and Cap Bernat will have to be visited .... restaurante wise would like to try... cami de balafia (if I can find it)! Also now on my list are Sol d'en Serra, Cala yogi, Kamhuras for sunset, Blue Marlin, Cala Vadella. It does make me think how little I've really seen of the island really in the previous 9 visits and that I must get to these places this year! What about you guys where have you some how not managed to get to?

High on my list are...

Sera D'Es Materet
Formentera
Benniras
Atlantis (almost stumbled on it, but i know exactly where it is now thanks to looking for S'Era Des Mataret)
The Hippy Market just for a gander
Blue Marlin
the top of D'Alt Villa

This September im taking it a lot easier than last year. I nearly ruined myself with the non-stop partying. When we land we are gonna explore for a day, then the madness of WLS CLosing, DC10, then Cocoon Closing, hopefully the Cocoon afterparty, then taking it easy for a few days until Monza closing. Hoping to sort a venue for the Wednesday night for our own uses, then Monza and maybe Pacha on the friday. If I have enough cash I'll be staying on for Space, DC10 + Blue Marlin, then taking it VERY easy in a quiet little family type resort or a few days in Formentera. Thats the plan anyhow.

Doh....I forgot Formentera too and might have 'another' crack at atlantis! Sounds like you've got your maneourves planned Phil!

I am determined to get to Amalur this year - we have had table reserved there so many times but always ended up cancelling cos still out from the night before or wouldn't appreciate the nice food etc

This year I think I am going to aim for the first night of the hols so things can't go wrong

Some friends of mine went there last year and spoke highly of it. It's been voted best restaurant 3 years running I believe too!?!

hm. there's quite a lot of stuff i haven't seen yet...
es portixol for example
take more time to see es cana and santa eulalia
same for the santa agnes region
formentera again

and i'm very much looking forward to see my favourite places again.

eating out-wise i definitely want to check out...
es caliu
can caus
and a lot more!

The lovely Formentera for us.....

but due to my dodgy sea legs - we never get there cos I chicken out.

Was violently ill getting the water taxi from Ibiza Town to Playa D'en Bossa one year and never set foot on a boat since....

Formentera for me as well...

I think I have covered most of the Island.

Althoigh I have hardly been to any of the famous resturants as well.

we went to formentera last june and it pissed down.

then we were dropped on the rocks and were blown away by the gale force winds. Pups - try building one up on the beach with sand and rain blowing all over!

I want to return again as i could tell how beautiful it was despite the crap weather.

I feel I am missing out on not getting there...... must overcome fear of water/boats/drowning

    you should have gone prepared - I rarely go anywhere without my Blue Peter "here's one I prepared earlier" smoke ;)

eeek! Rather you than me - anyone in our family who has died prematurely has died at sea - and I have nearly drowned twice too.....  (but not as many times as I have been knocked over....)

i'd say it is mainly various restaurants/bars across the island for me as i've been most of the other places mentioned by people.

like nostrum i suppose i'd like to get some places better

i'd quite like to visit/set foot on the various islands around the pitiusas archipelago like es vedra, conillera and have a good look around the complex on s'illa des bosc.

oh also, i'd love to be able to have more time to spend at Cap de Barbaria and la Mola on Formentera

I only learned to drive when I got into my 30's as I couldnt cross the road safely and therefore thought I should drive a big metal killing machine.....

Mind you since learning to drive i havent been knocked over once! I now realise that you cant just stop a car when someone steps out in front of you....
