Piscis Park

Del Mar

We had to stay here after being double booked, I think 4 or 5 of us got robbed, one had his whole suitcase taken

Doors/Windows wouldnt lock, cleaners didnt do their job and the pool was painful

Alan the receptionist was a top bloke though!

I lived in Moss Side, Manchester for 6 months. In theory this hotel will be a walk in the park compared to that. Taking one or two extra pad locks and demanding a safe in the room.

Right, the reviews look crap for piscis park - does anyone know if its gonna be as bad as it sounds ??!
im stayin there in 3 weeks ...
Worse, I stayed there in June and it was bad, one night they had over 50 cops to split rival footy fans up, stayed in Marco Polo 2 in September and heard that the guests in Piscis were filling the Pool with Furniture and TV from the Rooms 4 or 5 TV whent in the pool in a week, evry time I walked past the Hotel a cop car was parked outside with Cops in the reception area. if it is 2* then Marco is 5*.

Our daughter stayed there last September, wityh her husband and daughter, and she went half board, after the first meal they ate out every day, the food was the worst shed ever seen, their camera got stolen out of her suitcase the 2nd day, the rooms are VERY basic and VERY old, but if youre going room only, and dont take valuables, and just need something basic and very central, you should be okay

Piscis Park was fine, we got the safe key and the second room key, nothing was stolen, yeah rooms are basic, but for the price you can't really complain, i would stay there again.

As Andy says, it wasn't half as bad as I'd expected. The lifts were questionable but the staff lift seemed to work much better. Rooms very basic but by no means not clean, just very outdated. Noise at night not terrible but manageable with ear plugs. It was mainly the west end crowd who seemed to stay there so if you don't mind that then it's actually ok for the price you pay.
