Where was it, what nights did they have was it a day or a night party club ? Why did it close how long was it there for etc etc

can any one shed any light on this club im very intrigued.

Pin-Up was the old Konga club and was around in 2002/2003 season. It had a fantastic terrace and then a smaller darker inside room.

The best time to go originally used to be Monday evening and you'd get all the Space/DC10 casualties going there after DC10. In 2003 they got some other promoters on board - Soul Heaven did a season there on Weds, we saw Kerri Chandler play a 4 hour set on the terrace and then a 6 hour set inside, they also had the likes of MAW and Timmy Regisford as big guests. For some reason it was never massively busy - entrance was always cheap (either free or never more than 10-15 euros) and drinks were ridiculously cheap by Ibiza standards (I remember getting pints of wine for about 4 euros).

Garlands also did a season there and a few other promoters. It all came to an abrupt end towards end of 2003 - there were loads of rumours as to why (sound complaints from nearby apartments, lack of promoting the big nights, dirty tactics by rival clubs :? ).

It really is a shame cos it was such a fantastic place that really summed up Ibiza and had so much potential.
 
it was run by a bloke called max, a huge geezer who was also involved in Es Vive. it was a lovely terrace and a proper dingy basement. great potential.

As ever though, opening a new club in ibiza is never gonna take off because of those rumoured vested interests.

I remember going there on a Monday night - the terrace closed about midnight and then you had to go to the dark basement area which wasn't more than a dark box ;)
