PIKES 2025

Jus managed to read this write up, haven’t got fb either but found a way! Only been to pikes once in like 2022 and I really enjoyed it and had just enough space to have a good night. All these stories put me right off ever going back!!
I had my first taste of Ibiza overcrowding last year (I tend to stay away from circo, black coffee road blocks etc) at cova Santa for cattaneo and warren. Was fine outside but come 2-3am in the cave it was absolutely horrific, I’m not easily put off but I just stayed outside and chilled. There will be a bad accident one day, it’s f***ing stupid.

Whilst I have pointed out the things that have gotten worse in my view it still wouldn't stop me from going.

You can normally find some space at the back of Freddies to dance and Plaza Mayor is a decent area.

The big nights will always be rammed but it is still a good night. I just wouldn't arrive too late as to avoid the wait if they are holding on the tennis court area. Highly recommend a Melon Bomb night if that coincides with your trip.

Melon boys always rock. Yeah last Sep we had loads of room in Plaza Mayor to dance.. Freddies, was the hottest sweatiest room since the 90's! Clothes stuck to us but we had room to move just about. Thins out the later the night goes on
 
Tony Humphries at Pikes on the 20th! Can’t say I’ve seen his name on the bill there before or seen him on any Ibiza line ups for years. That would be class! Proper legend

Unfortunately one week too early for me 😭

He was at the red sessions in early 00’s in Pacha. Satoshi, David Morales etc. Amazing DJ if lucky to see him!

I'm going to ibiza since 1994, I have been hundreds of times clubbing there, my best night ever in ibiza was Tony at Pacha, Ministry of Sound sessions 1996.
Master.
The night finished at 9.am, people didn't want to leave the club 😂

I see this year there is a mandatory donation (a minimum of €5) to be paid by card on entry to each guest list event. Not sure how a donation can be mandatory? Not complaining, just commenting. It would be better to charge it in advance and then their guest list wouldn’t get full so quickly but I guess there is a reason they can’t do that. It’s for local good causes apparently so all good.

Think they’re sailing close to the wind with this one after The Secret DJ blew them up with a few stories these past month!

Love the place but it’s just not the same anymore
