Juliette Lewis, star of impressively violent Hollywood movies like ‘Cape Fear’ (with Robert DeNiro), Natural Born Killers (with Woody Harrelson), and Kalifornia (with Brad Pitt), hit Manumission on Monday (September 12) wearing a Viking helmet.

Lewis’s head gear signalled her take no prisoners attitude and with little preamble threw herself into the role of rock star. As an actress of some range she pulled it off easily. That’s not an easy task when you’ve only got one song that everybody knows – ‘You’re Speaking My Language’. Sensibly they left that track till last and relied on the energy generated by her moustachioed backing band, the Licks, to trump the audience’s lack of familiarity of the rest of the set.

Unzipping her yellow cat suit Lewis made the obligatory stage dive to let the front few rows have a good grope. The band then left the stage briefly but were encouraged back for an encore by enthusiastic applause and stamping of feet.

Sorry, being pedantic. I use an Olympus C-5050:

It's not bad, but if a camera manufacturer out there would like to sponsor an upgrade, I'm sure we can come to some arrangement.
