ok so im heading round the world for all of 2008 and im looking to get a nice little camera (not crazy exspensive) that will capture some amazing sights im going to be seeing....

i was in Currys earlier and came across this one:

the spec seemed to be pretty good and the assistant stated that it has one of the best lenses in the buisness ... obviously i dont know my ass from my elbow with all the technical stuff they throw @ you for the easy sell .....

maybe you guys will be able to give me some advise?

Hi mate,

that is the one to get, I have an older version of it FX-10 or something which is the best compact I've ever had. And this version is even better, can't reccomend it highly enough, great screen, great shots, simple to use.
