I don't mean to be harsh but you don't think he might be trying to tell you something :?

I could be completely wrong but if a bloke I was seeing didn't contact me for x no of days I'd end up putting 2+2 together and think he was trying to tell me something.

I'd think that only for his phone stopping working that quickly, unless you can block numbers?

blocked my no! bloody hell seriously im really not that bad! :? and he had rang me himself 40 mins earlier. why do that then block my no? jeese maybe i need a new dating technique!

I'm sure you're not that bad. Just considering every available possibility.

The easy answer would be that his phone bust and you're no. was on the phone not the sim.

Although if he's been to see you he's got your address, no? So he could write or ring directories for your home phone no.?

i dont think he knows my address as we got a taxi early hours after we'd been out and i met him in town after he got a lift from his mate. town is no where near my house! i put him on bus tho from mine the next evening so i suppose if he really really wanted to he could try and find me. jus whether he could be arsed i suppose. suppuse thats a good test to put him too. maybe. :? :D

had just given up. but just tried his phone then and it rang. i was so shocked i put the phone down! i don't know what to do now. i feel a bit wierd as i had text someone who thought was prob his mate as i had a text from him on my phone from that number. but they never got back to me to say if he was ok or anything. now im thinking maybe he doesn't want me to ring him. :? should i ring him? barbie suggestions/ straight talk?! i have gone mad!

:? Even if there's a simple reason why he hasn't rung you it's still not a very nice way to treat someone :?

I'd bin him.

Sorry to say it looks like he's had 2nd thoughts and just turned his phone off? Especially now it was turned back on.

I met a girl in Leeds once. Then went to see her a couple of times, and then one weekend, I just decided that I wasnt into it anymore, I made my excuses one Sunday morning, told her i wanted to go home to watch the world cup with my dad, she rang me 5 times while I was on the train back to Manchester, and I didnt answer. She gave up by midweek. I should have just told her, but I didn't wanna carry it on, I felt pretty bad about it, cause she was a nice lass.....just not for me

This has happened to me too. Spent the weekend with this guy and we agreed to meet up in a couple of weeks. I phoned him to arrange it and he said he was just getting on a bus and would call me back. But he never did! Saw him again years later and he admitted he'd ended up getting back with his ex-girlfriend who he was "on a break" with when he met me.

I'm not one to hold a grudge and I actually ended up going out with him for a couple of years. Then I dumped him.

I didn't know you and JJinit had even met! I bet it was bloody Rachel Thomas he was getting back with too. Between Synch JJ and Pip Uk that girl's left a trail of destruction in her wake.

Ahem, actually the M62 would have suited your needs more, the "snake pass" or A57 as it's better known goes to Sheffield.
I once deviated from the M62 on a foggy sunday night and took the a62, and ended up nearly writing off my vintage vdub when i drove it into a sheep!!

whicg i suppose adds weight to the saying "stay off the moors" ;)

I am aware of this JJ, but thought the double entendre was worthy of the inaccuracy. (Although in later years I did do Friday nights visiting mates in Manc and travel to 'Bed' in Sheffield on Saturday, to meet a different young lady from Leeds by the JJinit approved route (to Leeds not meeting ladies you understand).

So... you were flung from your car and simply landed on that sheep in the comprising position pictured on the front page of the Ilkley Moor Advertiser? I believe ya, it's the others laughing.... :P
