So, according to the Big Mac, not one new face of Pure Pacha but many special guests throughout the summer... although they could announce a resident later on...
 
didnt Guetta had every thursday (or almost) last summer? Pure Pacha must have a resident, guetta wont be coz he has f*** me im famous parties so i would guess kleinberg or some other big DJ that has the Pacha attitude....

yeah hopefully they get rid of guetta as well... worst party in ibiza.. well, ties with Cream as worst one..

hopefully they get something new and exciting for pure pacha!
 
they cant get rid of Guetta coz he attracts all the young (16-20) and rich frenchies during the month of august...so they wont get rid of him...sadly...lol

I'm guessing Tong's night will be called Wonderland then? As he's done parites at MoS and the like (and released tracks) with that moniker.

All I can say is it won't affect Pacha that much, as Pacha will always be full on Fridays. There'll just be different clientelle really, and I'm sure Tongy's on a MASSIVE wedge to play there. I've heard some silly numbers....

Manumission (Amnesia)/Pure Pacha/Pete Tong (Eden)/Azuli (Space)

out of the 4, if I had to choose one I think Azuli is the one I'd go to. It had a great line-up last year.
I wouldn't go to San An, not even if I had a bazooka pointed at my head, and I reckon many Pure Pacha punters will not follow Tong for the exact same reason.

i agree with azuli having had good line-ups last summer. BUT, i was there a few times and (for the fact it being friday) it really wasn't too busy...at the beginning of the season i thought azuli at space would be huge. but their success was never as big as i expected.

re pacha - will be packed every friday, even without tong (or maybe because without tong? ;))

busy maybe but think about it this way. manumission before could get c. 10,000 punters at privi, it'll be less than half that at amnesia.

so in theory there are 5K punters floating about. some will prob go to tongy. :?:

nostrum is right, pacha will be busy whatever, it is friday night after all. so the pure pacha punters will stay at pacha. tongy will be competing with a different clientele than he attracted at pacha.
 
Tongy at Eden????

Sorry don't see any posts about it but just read the article. Wow. That IS a bold move on his part!!!! What he'd been doing Pacha since '03 or '04 I believe??? I never went to Eden, but I guess it can hold his crowd......Anyhow, just a little schocked to see that. Well I guess change is good!!
