Oh dear - I've just read the entire religious debate transcript (which was very interesting reading by the way) and I suddenly feel very shallow.
I had a moment like that today when I realised that all I contribute to the board are slightly random comments in fairly normal threads.
then I quickly got over fairly quickly after I posted a 'sensible' comment as I realised it really wasn't as fun

I think the balance is wrong...we're either two agnostic and scientific or too clingy on religion (the root of which is always fear hense the fundamentalist cr*p).
No religion ever acknowledges a left AND right brained philosophy (ie being spiritual but with your feet firmly on the ground).
...Surely anybody should be allowed to do whatever they like (including publishing cartoons/free speech) as long as it's without intent of harming another?...and any idiot can deconstruct their motivations in this so it's the responsibility of us all - not some silly scripture.
