Pensions

This is my next plan actually - can comeone advise me on the best way to find a suitable one? I've only just got to grips with mortgages and find these financial things to be a bit of a nightmare!

Particularly since my Dad recently got shafted on his. :(

I have a couple of good web links on my home PC which my IFA suggested using to check on the latest best deals.

If i get chance to boot up the laptop tonight, i'll post the links tomorrow.

You could have a look at the best pensions, then contact a Financial Advisor and ask what he/she thinks, then maybe let them sort it. They usually take their commission from the company, not you.

Most importantly, don't go for one with high penalties for coming out of. It cost me about £5,000 to come out of the old one i had, but luckily i soon made it back.

Get yourself an IFA.

Was going to get one with my work now but don't think im going to be there that much longer so thought Id leave it till I get another job. Then someone said that I should do as it was a good one (civil service?!) and that I could have transferred it over. Then they told me something else before my head exploded as it was the first week back after new years where my head was in bits already.

I still need to look into this ..

I'm seriously thinking about buying a couple of houses (or some land) with mine. Probably somewhere abroad.
Saw a program the other day- apparently Eastern Europe is the place to invest in, particularly Poland for some reason.
