Peaches Geldof Banned From Ibiza

Sir Bob Geldof has banned his daughter Peaches from DJing at the Ibiza Rocks festival for fear that she may bump into her junkie friend, Pete Doherty.
Peaches, 17, was scheduled to be DJing at the festival with her fellow Trash Puppie, Fiona Ritchie.
However, Sir Bob has put his foot down and is banning her from attending the event.
A source told the Daily Star: “Bob’s happy for her to carve out a niche as a DJ and loves her spending time with Fiona – he thinks she’s a great influence.
“However, he does was to remind her that she is only 17 and she’s not supposed to be drinking.
“Obviously working in nightclubs puts her slap-bang in the middle of people enjoying a good time, but he feels he can keep an eye on all that when they’re in London. He’s drawn the line at Ibiza though as she will be out of the country and hanging around people like Doherty.
“Bob trusts Peaches but is acting as any parent would. It’s the people on the scene that worry him.”

Live 8 hero Bob Geldof has been forced to cancel two concerts in Italy because of lack of public interest, after only 45 people turned up to see him perform in Milan, Italy's La Stampa newspaper reported on Saturday.
Geldof walked out of Milan's 12 000-capacity Arena Civica on Friday without playing, given the paltry attendance. His manager explained that a concert for less than 400 people would not be viable ...

She’s not a household name yet, but Peaches Geldof, daughter of scruffy Live8 organiser and sometime rock star Bob Geldof, is doing her best to make sure she will be. The 17-year-old was spotted partying hard over the weekend in famously debauched summer party island, Ibiza. Taking to a podium to dance in front of a massive sweaty crowd, the precocious teen reportedly whipped off her knickers and chucked them into the audience :o . Dancing at a Kasabian event, Peaches then apparently flashed a boob as she changed her t-shirt 8O . Some might say its in the genes; Peaches’ mum Paula Yates was a famous party animal back in her heyday. Tragically, Yates’ life was cut short by a drugs overdose six years ago. Peaches, a TV presenter, writer, DJ and A' Level student, is said to be a star in the making. Fingers crossed she’s got her head screwed on right to deal with those ‘pressures of fame’…

I saw most of it before I fell asleep. Thought she was quite funny and a good presenter. She did have typical 17yr old views on everything though.

I agree, thought she came across ok, like you say typical 17 year olds view.

Didnt say much other than not agree with everything they had to do. Was good to see her question the arranged marriage issue, even if she was kicked out from the wedding.
 
that arranged marrage stuff freaks me out, I know we are all different in the world but yesterday she said the couple only met 4 time in 2 years of engagement, she was 18 and he looked 40, did not look in love and I'd lay a bet that he has not even see her arse or fun bags.

The last girl I went out with was in an arranged marriage. She wouldnt touch him with a barge pole.
He lived in Pakistan, and they only did it so he could get a VISA to move to the UK, who said romance is dead!!

You remember the girl I told you kept going to the same clubs as me and so i was a bit nervy, you met her very briefly at Srecretsundaze last year, when i first met Robder, I think it was in 93 Feet East.

Ooops havent i mentioned she was married before..?? mustve slipt my mind 8O :lol:
