sorry, I know this has been asked before.. I"d just like some more advice..

The ONLY reason for me staying in San Antonio would be the cheaper accomodation..(but then this is my first time there, so its all on what I'e heard)

Here is a bit about me and what I want to do. Of course, I am leaning way more towards pdb, but its the money issue and the fact i really don't care about the quality of accomodation.. as long as there is a bed i can crash in once in while!

however, I only intend (as of right now) to go to
Pacha(probably more than once!)
DC10
Space(more than once!)
Priviledge
Bora-Bora
maybe maybe maybe Amnesia once..

If this makes a difference..

I'm traveling alone (so would like to meet people)
I'm 27
how much would you spend going back and forth form San an to pdb? anyone think its worth it to save a bit of money? i'd rather spend my money on clubs and other things, but then having a hotel in the area may be better.

From the list you give I'd suggest PDB.

For going on your own and meeting people it has to be San An IMO

Have fun whatever you decide. 8) ;)

where is better for meeting people San An or pdb?
why do you say san an is better stuie?
 
I find people easier to approach in San An myself, there seems to be a greater proportion of people trying to have fun rather than just look cool
 
Plus, depending on which nights you are going to, some of the pre-parties in places like Bar M (in San An) would be ideal for meeting people before going on to the clubs...

It's so cheap to get around (esp. on buses) it ultimately doesn't matter that you're slightly further away from your list of clubs.
 
I would say in your situation you should go for PDB.

The money you save on accomodation in San An would be eaten up in a few days by all the taxis you would have to take. Further, you have Bora Bora in PDB; ideal place to meet folk
 
I stayed in Playa last year and did the same clubs that you intend on doing. Most of the clubs you mentioned are in or near playa.

You can catch the disco bus from san an to playa which is quite cheap, but they can be a pain in the ass and you will spend alot of money on cabs going from san an to playa or ibiza town as it's quite far.

The other thing is that playa is right on the beach which was a big factor for me. I spent most days on the beach. San An does not have a beach.

As far as meeting people goes, you can meet them anywhere, there is no town on the island that is better than any other for meeting people........it's essentially up to you how many people you meet.

Unless you are going to save over 20-30 Euro's per day by being in San An, i wouldn't bother. I only went to San An 2 times in 10 days last year and that was just to watch the sunset and visit cafe mambo.
 
yeah.. I think my mind is basically made up.. want to stay in playa.. but hotels are cheaper in san An...

.. need to get booking!

I would recommend PDB, it's much better, and nearer all the clubs you want. If you stay in San An then don't be duped into using taxis the bus services are great. they go all through the night and there's a comprhensive bus timetable you can get. We went over to San An from PDB last week by bus and it took almost an hour on two buses, but then you get the atmosphere on the bus as well... as well as more chacne of meeting someone :-) Have fun whereever you go!
 
PDB for me, the days are so much nicer spent outside bora bora, you can walk to space, dc10 and even Ibiza town if you like a walk..

San Ann has some nice bars, but spending a night or two would be enough for me
