See Oakenfold a few times & to be honest hes been s**te!!!! Last time @ Pure pacha hes didn't mix the last 2 tunes.......Radiohead,U2!!! Bumped into him after his set & I have never met such a arrogent arsehead

There was noone bigger then this assclown in '98 '99 '00 ... first show I ever went to was Tranceport at Buzz in DC ... wow ... white ferraris.

He came on drunk and mixed lots of **** tunes (badly). The fact that it was broadcast live all over the world effectively killed his DJing career...

Ya man, they leveled 8 blocks and built multimillion dollar apartment buildings in the place, right next to the baseball stadium, the area used to be trash, we used to get dimes from homies on the corner back in highschool there...

Ah! Bless the Oakie! - He was a fantastic DJ at his time, but he belived the hype surrounding him, started giving comments saying that 'dance music is dead' etc, not the right thing to say in public when your a DJ eh?!

Anyone remember the nights he had @ Pacha around 2000/2001? Perfecto!
Pure CLASS! Had Coxy as resident too, Parks & Wilson etc... Excellent night! Most nights finished around 9am! What would ther mayor do if that happened now?! Have a bloody heart attack!

I'm still surpirsed how clubs like Pacha & Space book him? Perhaps he pays them?!?!
 
The first club night I went to in Ibiza was the Perfecto party at Pacha on the 11th September 2001. I think Hernan was supporting Dj. It was absolutely fantastic and I've been to Ibiza every year since. :D

Perfecto @ Pacha was one of the best nights there's ever been in Pacha imo, it was one of the few nights I've found the place has properly gone off and people were there for the music, as opposed to hanging about the dancefloor trying to look 'cool' :roll:

girl on the dancefloor giving out sparklers to anyone nearby
took one (lit) from my mate and held it too far up

leading to me talking to Oakenfold about The Tunnel in Glasgow whilst my hand gently melts in front of my eyes
