hey, does anyone know if paul johnson (house dj from chicago) will be spinning this summer? he used to be the resident at el divino (summer 2000). i would love to see him again!

I doubt it, he was hospitalised last year, I've not heard anything since but I think it was serious and his family asked for privacy

he's amazing. we met him our first night in ibiza (actually sunday morining at space ) and kept in touch. actually i ran into him in 2002 in NYC and he took us to an afterparty where we got a great live mix. i haven't been in touch with him since and was hoping that he recovered.

if anyone has heard about whether he's ok and whether he's still djing i would love to know.

Yes, Paul Johnson was in the hospital for a few weeks due to problems with one of his legs. As you know, Paul Johnson is disabled and requires a wheelchair...I believe(I don't know all the facts) he may have lost a leg(ambutated), but like I said..I'm not that up to date.

A local club/promotor just held a party for him a few weeks ago and he was in attendance so things are looking good for Paul and his fans!

I would also love to see him in Ibiza this year ..he is really a nice guy!
