Paris

Musée d'Orsay is really underated; nice building and interesting seasonal expos. A good

Top recommendation!!
There's also a small Island to the East of Notre Dame (cant remember the name), some interesting Bistro's there!!

Cracking City btw!!

for banter, food and drink, i'd go to the latin quarter.

Thats where we tried to go after the Barca victory in 2006, not one single taxi driver understood what we were trying to say!

Not bloody difficult considering we had Barca scarves and apparently theres loads of spanish restaurants/bars in the latin quarter!

 Parisian taxi drivers are a nightmare in general. In French it's Quartier latin or you can also say La Sorbonne which is in the middle of it

I've been to Paris about 3 times and never experienced this.

What I did experience was trying to haul my luggage down the stairs to the metro.. and having people help me, having a random stranger ask me if i would like to use his mobile, because mine was dead and i need to call my friend when i arrived at 11:00 .

I actually found everyone to be polite, helpful and friendly.

My friend had an apartment near le Marais... great little area.

I love paris, I can walk around for days and never get bored!

Just to keep me straight on this. I never meant The French, but the tourists.

Quite a clutured lot on this site really. Don't know what the Consuller Insular is on about trying to attract a different clientelle to Ibiza.

hola petra!:)

you lived in paris didn't you? how long for? and whereabouts did you live?

bizz

Bonne soirée chéri! I did indeed, for 1,5 years in total. First lived up north and then near Bastille - both had their good and bad sides ;)

Bisous!
