I kept an open mind until I listened to the recording of her "set". At no point during my lifetime would I have been willing to spend a night listening to the cacophany that got played. People can go on about "taste" till blue in the face this was utter drivel - it wasn't even kiddie music it was just unbelievably bad. Naf plastic "DJ" playing really bad music surrounded by posing sheep. I couldn't even go along to laugh at it - with so much decent music around it just makes me sad that this is what people go for. Anyway .....
 
I think we have to accept this for what it is. I actually have no issue with this and I say this as someone who visits only less commercial parties.

Firstly, I've always been a massive Paris Hilton fan. Yes she had a massive start in life and used her name and the blonde bimbo imagine to create a multi-million pound empire. Look at Forbes / Bloomberg HER company is a massive brand. She's far from stupid and anybody who has had face time will tell you the bimbo accent is should replaced with someone who has a Buckley California education. It's all a front.

Secondly, Ibiza has always attracted this type of celebrity. Even Ku back in the day had this type of celebrity.

Thirdly, it's a freaking foam party as part of the most gay night in the history of the World (La Troya). Gays take life less seriously and get the whole irony of it.

If Sven had her on in the Main Room of Cocoon I'd admit there was a problem. This is fine, and personally I'd prefer this than the hip hop thing that almost took over a few years back...

Anyway.... Rant over!

Making a mockery of the public and the *DM industry more like. If what you say about the "front" is true then it makes her less of a joke and more of an amoral and disgusting person with the sole aim in life of self-aggrandisement and money making by any means possible. Hardly anything to make excuses for in all fairness. The 'irony' excuse getting trotted out ? Nah - show looks like just a forum for a talentless tasteless ***** to demonstrate just how much daddy's money and the resultant celebrity can buy and from the soundtrack, just how easily people can be parted with their money for a load of utter rubbish with some spangly decor and a bit of foam. I'm not sure Paris's educational history is a shining example of academic prowess and achievement from which to draw a favourable assessment .... :confused: more like someone being hoiked around and latterly focusing more on partying than learning. What she has learned is more likely from her connections with something to gain in the way of spin-off than her schooling !
