Paris Hilton: New Amnesia headliner!!

Espuma has always been a very cheesey commercial night anyway, no serious clubber/dance music fan would bother with this night anyway, so probably best place for Paris Hilton.. if she started doing the terrace at Cream then that would be another issue!

Agree. I think some people need a reality check here!!
Amnesia has TWO very cheesy nights and has for a number of years - all they are doing now is attaching a celebrity to it!

I think Danny W gave said this in an interview a few years ago about people moaned about Pacha having cheesy nights, but Amnesia has two massive cheesy nights - its just that Pacha's "cheesy" night (Guetta) is one of the biggest nights in the World. (Only going from memory so sorry if I've got this wrong Danny).

Somehow Amnesia escaped criticism because Espuma slipped below the radar and nobody really went and / or they partnered up with other nights to hide it.

I think the La Troya / Paris mix is a good combo. La Troya is full of gays, and most gays love foam, bad tribal House music from the 90s and Paris Hilton!! I exclude my self from that obviously! I'll be wearing gloves with Guy Gerber in Pacha!

I asked Amnesia what they were doing with this. They just replied asking everyone to respect their decisions....I told them to take Guetta and that poisonous Swedish trio down with them... (a bit over the top, I know, but point made me thinks :])

At the end of the day people are only going to part with their hard earned cash for music and djs they know.

Paris Hilton isn't going to affect anyone's holiday unless they go to this. The most the average punter will see of this night is the odd billboard or flyer here and there.
Dont forget about the amount of commercial bull**** that was massive in ibiza a couple of years ago - guetta, swedes, tiesto and the hip hop invasion - everywhere.

There's so much choice and good music in ibiza right now for this to matter

Was obvious people would jump on this but it is just a foam party! If your going to have a cheesy night out you may aswell have Paris Hilton pretending to dj. Great PR from Amnesia I say. Will not affect me or anyone attending the likes of cocoon as Amnesia is just a venue (albeit a brilliant one loved by many dance music fans), and has always historically had commercial nights with popstars etc

Ibiza always had a commercial side. So, as long as she come on Wednesdays...
 
It was meant as a joke! As a dry sense of humour is something us Brits do even better than taking the pi_ss out of ourselves.
