The night at space was much more younger, clued up and more of the new techno/tech-electro generation... seth troxtler, ben klock, jamie jones , dixon, maya jane cole , soul clap etc etc.....
that type of crowd seemed to me, at least.

as further proof:

I looked around at 7:30 am outside of pacha once it was done and it was a tottaly tottally different crowd than the one at Space. The latter was much more younger and spontaneous...they were much cooler and trendy..at least they seemed that way.

Very interesting! Defected was amazing on some nights last year IMO, but I don't think I am Pacha's Saturday night target audience. However, it was getting a little too dark and deep on some nights for the crowd, especially some of the Solomun nights!

There were times last season where Tong's night on Friday, Defected on Saturday and Cadenza on Sunday were making Pacha a little too underground for the crowd on some nights.....and there was very little difference between the nights in terms of music.

If (and its a big IF), Defected, Luciano and Tiesto leave, what are we left with? Is Tong as risk too? Are we left with a 60s Flower Power Party, a 00s throw-back (Morillo) and a Pop Music night (Guetta)

I thought Defected has already announced their comeback for 2013 in their newsletter. Anyhow, my guess for the candidates that will leave Pacha are Tiesto and Morillo.
 
Afrojack or Avicii? or maybe Chuckie for his own night? Or are they cutting out the high pay dj's?

I think a new angle on this is that the "high paid DJs" might think that it's them who no longer need Ibiza! Maybe this is the start of the end of the Super Star DJ, or is it just the changing of the guard?

Really want to know where Pacha are going to take some of these nights post Danny's departure. Will we see the "party" becoming bigger than the DJs. Supermartx, Pool Disco, La Troya, Manumission (back in the day) all about the party and not the DJ.

We could see some very interesting concepts develop....Maybe even Andy & Dawn can dream up a new concept :D
 
Now with Defected going as well starting to be a bit of a void to fill in the weekly line up. Also begs the question on what will happen to the Mambo pre parties?

They did.

That may have influenced Pacha in their decision to say goodbye.
 
I reckon everyone is jumping over themselves to do parties at Ushuaia , they could have the pick of the bunch!

i think guetta in 1 or 2 years will stop also, like tiesto, for him 4 months 1 time per week, year per year is hard, and for the clubbers it will arrive a day , that people will loose the interest for him.

For me was always better the time that the dj´s where playing every week or 2 weeks in a diferent party or club, like cox playing sundays at space , then at cocoon or with perfecto at pacha.... maybe this will come back...
 
Interesting with Tiesto... especially considering he's just moved to Pacha. Reckon he'll do one off parties at Privilege too?
