Pacha Magazine - (a whinge)

Not content with spending a good proportion of my life savings (while on our favourite island) on trips to Pacha to enjoy their overpriced entry, overpriced drinks and (quite reasonably) priced restaurants, I subscribed to Pacha magazine via their Internet shop. 'Why ??' you ask, when I am currently using the forum which provides us with all we need to know about coming and goings on the White Isle.........

Well (and this is a bit sad, I admit) - I've been collecting them ever since they started up (as souveneirs) and (up til this year) had a copy of each month that had been published. As I've not been able to get out there as much this year to pick up free copies and had no mates working over there to bring / send me a copy back, I decided to subscribe for summer run.

First issue (with horse toothed football wunderkind Ronaldhino on the cover) arrived without problems BUT ..............that's it. No more coffee table book style magazines have been delivered for me.

Now I know the Pacha brand tends to be on the 'expensive side' but 40 euros for one mag might be taking things a bit far. I've e-mailed them (in Spanish & English) to ask what has happened to my beloved mag but had no response.

Any ideas, (is it even still be published?)or shall I just put it down to them being robbing blighters and only spend 70 euros on drinks in there next time I vist, in protest ? ;) ;)

(Rant over - god I'm turning into Stephen aren't I? ;) )
 
It is still published and they're giving their current issue away free with DJ Magazine in WH Smiths.
 
They used to have an office at El hotel. I think it's better to step in and get it sorted.
Those in the know could help(Dr Mick, McRakin, Stephen)
 
Ive had exactly the same problem, I sent a couple of emails to no avail, let me know if you have any luck, Im in Ibiza next week, so will try and contact someone regarding this issue.
 
Bollox only just seen this thread :? I paid for all the magazines for this year as I too forgot to pick them up while I was there and I still havent recieved any :evil: I was going to give them until after this w/e as then it will have been nearly a month that they took the money off my credit card :evil:

Did anyone get any joy with this? Like actually getting the magazines or your money back? :roll:

I called them months ago to ask where my missing copies had gone and was told there was no record of my order :twisted: :twisted: :spank:

Strange that, since they managed to send the first one to me OK !! They then said I could download the mags off the website but would have to pay (again) for the privilage !

Thats terrible! Ive emailed them asking where my mags are and saying that they took the money off my card immediately, but Ive not heard anything. Surely we should be able to claim back as we can prove they took money off our card?? :evil:
