In charging people for drinks.
I know it's not usually too much of a consideration, but trying to have an easy one after going out for a meal in Saturday, and thus "got my drink on", and they're charging £4.50 for a bottle of beer.
Shocking. And thinking about it, Egg was charging 4 last time i was in there. Is this the norm these days? The last time I can remember how much drinks were (usually it's just a fistfull of notes, in return for a tray of coppers, and everyone's happy) I'm sure it was like a (then shocking) about £2.80 for a beer.
As I said, not normally a consideration, but it just detracts IMO from "relaxing" too much, y'know?
Or maybe I'm just being a tightwad?
